Alyssa here. I'm Jaqk's friend. She is my writing soulmate, haha. We feed off of eachother which I hope will work well for Gothno and Nano. Anywho, I'm 19, living in Detroit, Michigan. I love the wrimo's but I have never won any. I plan on changing that this year with both Gothno and Nano. I'm only going for 25k this month, due to maybe some travelling? Mostly I'm using Gothno to teach myself some discipline. I'm a huge procrastinator and my writing flounders because of it. My story is going to be gothic fantasy, about a self-loathing monster hunter and his escapades. I'm going from a loose outline since I only got info on Gothno a week ago but I find strict outlines constrict me most of the time anyway. If you need a writing buddy to get on your butt or just chatter excitedly at, feel free to get ahold of me! Don't be shy!

If she meets/exceeds her 25k writing goal, she gets a present from me. She better work her ass off, having only one class as she does! <3

hello all, i am anna. well, anne, actually, but i have decided that i like anna better. don't ask. anyhow, i am seventeen years of age, female (thankfully -- any male with the name anne should sue for cruel and unusual punishment), and an obsessive writer. also an overachieving one. for instance, my goal of 70k for this month is a small one for me, used to rest the wrists and synapses after augno and septno and before nano and fimo.
hm, what else? er, i've never written gothic lit before, but, as they say, there's a first time for everything. -grins- delighted to meet you all, and let us hope that this will be a productive month.

Hi, everybody. I'm Karma, or Coffee, or whatever you want to call me. I'm fourteen, (which makes me really young on here, I just realized) and this is my first year doing gothno. I've already managed to fail at last year's nano and this year's script frenzy, so lets hope this goes better. Anyway, I've never written anything gothic before, but I think I can pull it off (hopefully) because I deal with the creepy quite a bit in my writing.
Good luck!

Hey guys! What's up?
I'm D.N. Lyons (married as Mrs. Saint Augustin), but D.N. Lyons is my pseudonym and maiden name. Pseudonym only because I won't tell you what D.N. stands for.
Last year, August 19th, Freya's Bower published my first story. I was 23 years old.
It is both interesting and creepy that this story launched an entire series of erotic micro-tales for Freya's Bower (the series is known as Inherently Sexual). Interesting because I couldn't have dreamed up such a success, creepy because the tale in question was written in six months and signed to a contract in 2007, when I was 22.
The really creepy part: This year in March, I became a bestselling author. My life's goal. Sure, it's a small press, e-publisher, but I reached #6 out of the top ten "Sizzling"-rated bestsellers. At the age of 24.
Am I waiting for God to say "Oops, I didn't mean to give you this, I was trying to get some other welfare-bimbo into success"? Yes. Yes, I am. Because in my entire scholastic life, I was the lowest average. No friends, my family didn't give a damn enough to see school plays (I was always an extra anyway), and I wasn't good enough at anything they wanted me to do.
4 years after graduating high school, I found my niche in life...and that niche is erotica.
And since last year, I have branched to ero-gothic literature.
This year's offering is a Middle Eastern Dostoyevski, an Edgar Allan Prose of the Sands. It's as twisted as Titus Andronicus and twice as taboo as Exit to Eden. As well, the moment it has gone through final edits, it will be sent off with a custom-drawn cover (my art, of course, with the lovely French Script MT for cover lettering) to my new publisher.
I've got 16K words after an unfortunate 8 days. I dropped in here on the 7th.
But Q10 is running, my computer is clocked properly, and the baby's coming out by the 31st so I can NaNoWrite the next stage in the bin Dammou saga.
Happy to be here, sorry I took so long to introduce.
~D.N. Saint Augustine, nee Lyons~
