did you all slept less when you started with writing for gothnowrimo? the first night i really slept verry little, this night i'll probably won't sleep much either. do you sleep less then normal because you have the urge to write down things?

Last night I stayed up to write at midnight, hit the sack at 1am, didn't get to sleep 'til after 2am and was up by 6am (thank you people presently snoring in the next room ), then went back to sleep some more. Gave up when the school kids started going past the house. Noisy bastards. But all of last month I was going to bed between 9-10pm and waking up by 7am. I've been trying to make it a habit to sleep at normal times (I'm known for keeping crazy sleep patterns) - but I'm one of those people who no matter how tired they are, will wake up constantly throughout the night. So envious of people who can sleep straight through the night. When I do manage to sleep for long periods of time, it's usually when I'm having an amazing dream (read: harvesting plot fodder). Then I wake up and can't remember the details. During wrimos, I usually stay up 'til 1-4am, then get up sometime between 8am-2pm. I write best at night. Afternoons are for being lazy and annoying friends.

I always sleep less than 6 hours, except on holiday. But I'm staying up to fulfill my daily goal today and it didn't work well :S
