Awww. . . know what that's like. I was afraid I was going to have to drop out too if my spanish grade got any lower. I hope you have a good rest of the month, and are all ready for NaNo (if you do that). Anywho, I wish you luck in all your endeavors.

I think I may be dropping out too, I haven't written a thing in the last week. School is proving scarier than GothNo. *pouts* But good luck to you in your schoolish dealings, Trikky~! (And good luck to the rest who are still in the running too, of course. )

I hate to see you all go! However, good luck with the other things we all have to do! I'm seriously doubting if I will get any more of my Goth no written either. 35K is looking a very long long way away and work just keeps getting bitch-e-rrrrrrrrrr!

-Hugs.- Then if you cannot write your GothNo, keep writing for the love of literature.
I hope to see you all in NaNoWriMo.

Some inspiration perhaps? *** The way I look at writing -- there is no such thing as failure. Even if you write a short story of a few pages - that is a success in my book! I've heard people use the word "fail" at last year's NaNoWriMo 'Meet and Greet', and it kind of breaks my heart to hear those words. *** ANYTIME you write a bit of fiction - you are probably doing more than the average person. I don't see "not meeting word count goals" as a failure if I write. If it's a creative experience or you learn something or you see new ideas/new perspectives/stretch your mind a little bit --- then it's a win in my book. *** Plus it's fun and interesting to hang out with other writers online. *** I challenge you to write for 30 minutes or an hour.

This is so true! And thank you, it was inspiring. You are correct on another point as well. I do like having other writers to talk to here on the nets. None of my friends write. they would never get spending hours awake writing a 50k novel simply to say that you did it! So I do love these ***NANO places! It is so much more fun writing when you have like minded people around! GO GOTH NO's!!! !You rock!

Well, I've been a long time disappeared and based on my word count meter, I got nowhere. Very true. I hated the voice of my story from the beginning and just couldn't move on. Then time go away from lazy me. So I've decided to stop and start all new in November for Nanowrimo. Kind of sucks cause I like small groups like this but it's what I need to do. Hopefully I'll do better next month. I still keep tabs on you guys. Hope you're doing a lot better.
If anyone wants to look for me, I'm Laieanna on Twitter and on Nanowrimo. Take care guys.
