No, I'm not actually italian, but I am studying it, and the french music I'm listening to is making me feel flamboyant...or is it the purple satin background I finally settled on for the forum? *shrug*
Anyways.
I've been doing NaNoWriMo for... 4 yrs (this year will be my 5th), and made it every year but last year, because last year was really too crazy for words. This year will also probably be too crazy for words, and thus I am going to warm myself up by starting with a minimal goal of 15k for October (yay 500 words a day+ a margin day!). I do have a college app due November 1st, though, so we'll see how this goes around all of my things at school (AP Calc - ew.)
My plan for what I'm writing...is kind of nonexistent right now. I did a story started two years ago that had some kind of thing with a haunted house in France, and a young writer taking time off to do some writing there in peace (or so she thinks). Anyways, I may use that, or I may try to revive the vampire piece that I've had to abandon twice due to issues with the PoV feeling wrong. Or I may start an entirely new vampire piece. Or modify that story starter into a vampire piece.
What can I say? You can't have much funky time with a ghost. You can't touch it. It can't touch you. End of story. Vampires are easier to write romances with.
And no. I am not some squealing Twilight fan. Yes, I have read the books, but I much prefer Amelia Atwater-Rhodes' vampire books, or even Anne Rice's.
Guess that's it for now. For some reason my hand is cramping up...not good....
