My headstart only got me about 300 words. *lame* Ah well. Who needs to study for an exam? NOT ME. Pshaw. That's who. Yeah, I know what you mean. I really wanted to write more, but at 12:06 am, I reread what I had written in the past six minutes, and it was basically incoherent. But now I'm getting some work done. We were learning about the "components of fitness" in Phys Ed, so I spent the entire period pretending to take notes and writing my story.

Haha, jackytorrance, I know what you mean about band. I am in pep band (my school has no official marching band - just pep band, but it's HUGE), and we have to go to a big football game on Friday...and there's a chance it will rain. Last year, it literally rained during all but two football games RIGHT DURING PREGAME when we had to play. I swear, my flute is a zombie now for going through that. But I'm so excited for GothNo - except I shouldn't stay up. Heck, I probably shouldn't even start writing yet, since I have a REALLY hectic first four days of the month (the football game listed above is one of the many), so I should probably focus on my studies...like trying to reteach myself physics before Saturday, when I have the stupid SAT subject test. BUT AFTER THE TEST IS OVER (and my saxophone lesson...grrr...) THEN I SHALL WRITE ALL DAY...AND SLEEP...ALL DAY LONG! > heh-heh. Flute zombie. Mine's so abused it's had to be taken in for repairs four times within three months, but mercifully it hasn't been rained on this year. Much. Yet. And now it's Wednesday! Yay! I have no idea where to start. (I very rarely write in chronological order and the beginning of this story is very vague in my mind at the moment.) So I haven't started yet. But I shall soon! I'm hanging out here until I find inspiration.

I really thought about it... I was up until midnight and everything. But yesterday had been such an emotionally taxing day and I decided to hold off until I got home today. Especially considering I knew that I wouldn't be able to stop with just a few words... I tend to do 1k spurts or more. So I held off. It proved to be worth the wait... the story started really easily and the first few scenes are pretty solid in my mind, just waiting to get down on the page.
