Okay, under your name you can have a bar with your wordcount. I got this from another person on Augowrimo augnowrimo.proboards85.com/index.cgiThis is what you do: First, calculate your word completion percentage. For example: 4,000 words done 10,000 word goal. 4,000 / 10,000 = .4 .4 x 100 = 40%. Then round up. You cannot use decimals in the percentage!!. Next, go modify your profile (click profile at the top of the page, and then modify profile). Under the "Personal text" field, you are going to add: Wordcount: 10% (changing the 10 to whatever your current percentage is). This adds the bar in your profile. If you want, you can put an exact word count immediately after, and it will appear under the word bar. For example: Wordcount: 20% 2,000 / 10,000 A few points to remember so the bar works: * No decimals * Capitalize the W in Wordcount * No quotation marks And there you go!! ;D

Just a tip: if you put in a comma to separate the thousands (e.g. 1,837/30,000) you'll also have a bar graph that fills up as your wordcount increases.

I've tried this, but can't seem to get it to work... The "Personal Text" field is what's throwing me off. I added the information, but nothings happening.

Okay, the whole forum has been revamped this year, so I'm not sure that this will work anymore... I'm going to look into it though!

Darn it! I thought that would be fun... Oh Don't look into it just for me! I'd hate to be a bother.

Oh no don't worry! I think it would be great if we could have wordcount bars like we used to...
